One interesting design feature of Reactor watches is the use of an extra-thick hardened mineral glass crystal instead of a sapphire crystal. Reactor design engineers are committed to using only the finest materials in their watch designs, and a sapphire crystal is generally considered superior to a mineral crystal. Reactor uses a unique rod and allen head screw system to join the bracelet to the watch that is up to 8x stronger than the traditional springbars used in most watches. Generous use of Superluminova luminescent material on the dials and hands of Reactor watches ensures outstanding visibility even in the darkest conditions. The dial of a Reactor watch will continue to glow brightly for up to 8 hours after exposure to light.
