Return Policy
eWatches.com Special Holiday Return Policy:
Due to increasing demand on our most popular styles, eWatches.com will be accepting returns on orders placed from November 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007 up until January 15th 2008. This means you can shop with comfort knowing that the gift you buy now is fully returnable after the holidays. Buy safe, buy early and buy smart at eWatches.com. Return Policy
All of our Watches come brand new
from the manufacturer. This means you get the full benefit of the
manufacturer's warranty. Each watch we sell is equipped with a tag that says "Not Returnable if Removed", so before you wear your watch, please make sure it
is what you ordered and that it is absent of any Out of Box defects. Also,
please make sure the watch is to your liking. Once you remove the tag, wear or
modify your watch, it is not returnable and is solely subject to the warranties
provided by the manufacturers. If you find that there is something wrong with
your timepiece or it does not meet your expectations. After completely reading this policy, you can obtain an RMA number by sending an email to Customer Service, faxing us at (801) 298-9282 and we will give you an RMA number. Our return policy follows:
- ALL customers wishing to return their purchases must first obtain a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. A request for an RMA# must be made within 14 days of order delivery and be returned back to us no later than 6 days after an RMA# has been issued. There is an extension to this return period during Oct 1st through Dec 31st (see site for details). If a package arrives without the RMA# and/or your signature is not visible on the outside, it will be refused by our receiving department.
- Freight charges for all non-defective returns will be the responsibility of the customer.
- All returns must still have the "Not Returnable if Removed Tag" affixed as it was when shipped. It must not be worn, used, sized (by anyone other than eWatches.com / The Time Zone) or altered in any way. Watches showing any sign of wear cannot be returned. If they do show wear, they will be returned immediately at the customer's expense and no refund will be granted.
- Special orders cannot be returned unless they are found to be defective. Special orders are marked as such.
- All returns must have non-damaged packaging (preferably unopened) and be in resalable condition, containing all original contents (Instruction manuals, Warranty Cards, Watch Tags, Removed Links, etc.) otherwise, a maximum of a 20% restocking fee will apply.
- If you received a free gift with the watch you are returning, you will need to return the gift or eWatches.com/TheTimeZone.com will charge you for the value of the gift. Value of the free gifts is displayed at http://www.ewatches.com/Information/FreeGifts.html
- If the watch is worn, visibly used or the tag is removed, you cannot return the watch. You are, however, fully protected under the warranty and must work with the manufacturer to obtain either a replacement or a repair.
Reasons for return:
Returns for exchange or credit:
- Returns for refunds: The full amount of the refund will be applied less the costs incurred by eWatches.com/The Time Zone of shipping the watch. This amount will vary depending on how and where the item was shipped.
- Returns for exchanges: The full amount of your purchase will be applied to the exchange for a different watch.
- If the returned item value exceeds that of the replacement item, a credit for the difference less the cost of shipping the replacement item will be return to the purchaser in the same manner in which the original purchase was made.
- If the returned item value is less than that of the replacement item, this form gives us your permission to charge you for the difference plus the cost of shipping the new item to you. If you received your item as a gift, you will need to provide your own form of payment to make up the difference.
Functional or visual defects:
- We inspect every watch & Clock both visually and functionally before we ship it. In the rare event that your watch or clock is defective upon receipt, it can be handled in one of two ways:
- 'Out of the box' visual defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, otherwise a return or exchange would be subject to the shipping fees
- For functional defects, make sure you have read the instructions fully before requesting an RMA or return the watch. If we find nothing wrong, we will return it to you at your expense.
- If the product is not visibly used or worn then eWatches.com/The Time Zone can provide a direct exchange, at our discretion, if reported and shipped to us within 14 days of delivery.
- The warranties generally do not cover items damaged due to abuse, misuse or owners neglect to follow correct operating instructions.
- In the event that we send you a return label for a defective item and it turns out that the item is not defective, we will charge you for the return label.
