Bulova Watches is an American Brand. In 1875, Joseph Bulova, recently imigrated to the United States from Bohemia, opened a Jewelry store in New York City. Bulova didn't actually begin manufacturing Bulova Watches until 1911.

In 2008, Bulova Watches was acquired by Citizen Watches. Although the two manufacturers compete head-to-head in many instances, Citizen has vowed that Bulova watches will continue to operate independently for the foreseeable future.
